Wolf of the Month-November

ALYSSA JONES—WOLF OF THE MONTH

Alyssa is a 12-year-old 7th Grader.  Alyssa is currently maintaining straight A’s and her favorite teachers include Ms. Morgan Reese (Ag), Mrs. Kristi Minor (Science), and Mrs. Kylie Chamberlain (PE/Coach).  Some of Alyssa’s interests outside of school include volleyball, basketball, camping, fishing, hanging out with friends and family, helping her dad out with his plumbing work, pet sitting, and babysitting.  Alyssa names her dad, Jesse, as her role models and states, “I look up to my dad because he is always there to help me when I am struggling.”

When asked to discuss an accomplishment that she is proud of, Alyssa responded, “I am proud that my 5th/6th grade basketball team made the Championship last year in the tournament.”  A ‘Fun-Fact’ about Alyssa is that she admits, “I am very talkative”.  Alyssa was asked to discuss her future aspirations and shared, “I would like to go college and eventually become a Vet, because I love taking care of animals.” Alyssa offers the following piece of encouragement to her fellow students, “Be confident and truthful in who you are.

Mr. Johnson had the following to say about Alyssa after naming her Wolf of the Month: “Alyssa stood out to me this month due to her great attitude, strong academic performance, and overall outstanding character.  Alyssa is hard not to like, and I appreciate how she treats her fellow students and faculty members.  With Alyssa, what you see is what you get, as she is about as genuine as they come.  Alyssa is respectful, friendly, hard-working, and talented.  I think others are drawn to her friendly and caring personality, making her a natural leader. Our junior high is fortunate to have her influence for the next few years.  Congratulations Alyssa, keep up the good work!
