Wolf of the Month-Naidelin Estrada

Naidelin Estrada - Wolf of the Month

Naidelin is a 13-year-old 8th Grader on the High Honor Roll and a straight-A student. Naidelin listed Mrs. Sue Terrell, Mrs. Sherri Ramseier, and Mrs. Kristi Minor as her favorite teachers. When asked about her favorite classes, Naidelin said she most enjoys Business, Agriculture, and Language Essentials. When not in school, Naidelin said she enjoys going on runs, spending time with family, and trying to learn something new. Naidelin looks up to her parents, Rosario and Hector, as her role models stating, “My parents are always there for me and have made me who I am. I couldn’t be more thankful to be their daughter.”
When asked to discuss an accomplishment that she is proud of, Naidelin responded, “When I was a young elementary student, the school suggested I be held back but my parents would never agree to it. Now I have been a straight-A student since 6th Grade.” Naidelin shared that a ‘Fun-Fact’ about herself is that, “My right arm is slightly longer than my left arm.” Naidelin was asked to discuss her future and stated, “I want to finish high school with a 4.0 GPA, attend Regis University in Denver, and become a nurse.” Naidelin’s advice to her fellow students is, “Never back down because of someone else’s opinion. Always take the opportunity or risk, you never know where you could end up.”
On naming Naidelin ‘Wolf of the Month’, Mr. Johnson states, “Not only is Naidelin thriving as a student, but more importantly to me is the way she conducts herself on a daily basis. Anyone who knows Naidelin will tell you she is one of the nicest and most sincere people they know. She constantly has a positive, friendly attitude and our school is very fortunate to have her. After I selected Naidelin as the student of the month, I enjoyed the opportunity to learn more about her, such as the adversity she faced and overcame as a young elementary student along with her future aspirations of attending college and becoming a nurse. There is zero doubt in my mind that you will achieve whatever you set your mind to Naidelin. You are doing such a great job across the board and I appreciate all the positive contributions you make to our school. Keep up the awesome work!”
