Wolf of the Month-Kaden Terrell

Kaden is an 8-year-old 2nd grader. Kaden named current teacher Ms. Danielle Olofson and Ms. C as his favorite teachers. When asked what his favorite part of school is, Kaden replied, “Recess!” Some of Kaden’s interests outside of school include, “helping dad farm, swimming, and driving my golf cart.” Kaden named his Aunt Brook as his role model, stating, “I want to grow up to be an engineer like Brook.”
When asked to discuss an accomplishment, Kaden responded, “I am proud I learned how to drive the grain cart because now I am helpful during harvest.” Kaden shared that a ‘Fun-Fact’ about himself is that, “I once swam for 10 hours straight in Arizona.” A goal of Kaden’s is to, “Spend every single Christmas with my family.” Kaden’s words of encouragement to his fellow students is, “Don’t give up and work hard.”
On naming Kaden ‘Wolf of the Month’, Mr. Johnson states, “Kaden stood out to me this month due to his outstanding attitude. Without fail, Kaden is always friendly and respectful. He works hard in class, is a great friend to his classmates, and his positive attitude is contagious. As a school administrator, a percentage of my job is spent with disgruntled students and/or parents. I realized very early on in my career to prevent burnout and general pessimism, you must balance this with positive interactions with stu-dents who put a smile on your face. Kaden is one of those students. Keep up the good work Kaden! You are doing a great job and I know your positive, friendly attitude is going to serve you well in life! Submitted by Myles Johnson
