Wolf of the Month-Audrey Brittain

Audrey is a 10-year old 5th grader and straight-A student.  Audrey names her 1st grade teacher, Mrs. Sandi Wudtke, along with current teachers Mrs. Rebekah Wieser and Mrs. Sue Heath as her favorites.  Audrey’s favorite subjects are Reading and Social Studies. Some of Audrey’s hobbies and interests outside of school include reading and playing with her animals. Audrey states that her role models include, “Harriet Tubman, Sacagawea, and my mom because all three proved that women can do anything.”

When asked to discuss an accomplishment that she is proud of, Audrey responded, “Just recently, I overcame my stage fright and played the role of Mrs. Claus during the school’s Christmas Program.” Audrey shared that a ‘Fun-Fact’ about herself is that she is “obsessed with pandas!”  One of Audrey’s goals is “to become a pediatrician”. Audrey’s advice to her classmates is, “When given the choice between being right and being kind; choose kind.”

Mr. Johnson had the following to say about his student of the month selection, “Audrey is excelling in the classroom and is a straight-A student.  Additionally, she has a heart of gold and is one of the most polite, friendly, and respectful students you will ever come across.  Audrey doesn’t have the loudest or most outgoing personality, but I hope the rest of the elementary students look to her as a leader by example.  Her behavior and work ethic in the classroom are excellent, and I don’t think she has a mean bone in her body.  Audrey is a great friend to many and kind to everyone.  Keep up the good work Audrey, you are doing an awesome job and have an incredibly bright future!” Submitted by Myles Johnson, Superintendent
