Remote Learning Notes

*Main content virtual sessions will be split into TWO groups to reduce distractions and increase student/teacher interaction opportunities.  Groups will be teacher formed, but parent input will be used to meet schedule needs for families.  Sessions will be the same content, but students are asked to attend their scheduled group for consistency purposes.

*Daily at-home work will be provided for reading, writing, and math-this may be worksheets, games, books to read, educational gaming sites, drawings, etc.  Students should aim to complete this work to practice and maintain learning, but it will not be graded.  All directions and answer keys will be provided with each assignment.

*One-on-one sessions will be scheduled with each student during remote learning weeks

  • Students will attend at least 2 one-on-one sessions each week       
    • Parent input will be utilized to schedule one-on-one sessions
    • Additional sessions will be held at a parent's request or if I have strong concerns
  • Session Length: 15-20 minutes max
  • One-on-One sessions will be used to check student understanding of content and act as their required graded work during remote learning.

 

++Writing Session and Group 2 session will switch if afternoon time does not work for parents.
